Nothing was too hard. The service was exceptional, I phoned them up prior to the restaurant opening and explained I wanted to eat then watch a movie at 6.30 and we hadn't had much time. The lady said no problem they could prepare our meal and have it ready for when we arrive. And that is what they did, the food was a pleasure to eat. Thankyou we will be coming back.
Pretty good pub food

The food here is always really well cooked and tastes good. One of those typical pub food menus but in saying that, the food is always sensational and comes out in pretty big servings so you can even share if you want. You know when the food is good somewhere, because the seats are always full, this applies to this restaurant. Choices from good steaks, chicken, seafood, pastas etc etc. All good!

Pretty good value for money. All the meals on the menu cater for everyone. Steak, chicken, seafood, burgers. The meals here can feed the family without breaking the bank like most restaurants. I did find the only minor issue I found was the eating area is quite dark, needs more lighting to brighten the place up.

About Manning River Hotel
The Manning River Hotel is the place to be in Taree. Recently renovated with modern facilities, we have 12 beers on tap, full TAB facilities, Keno, raffles and a games room with pool tables. There is also a kids play room, we are a family friendly hotel.
We also have a fantastic on site restaurant which operates 7 days a week. Courtesy bus available on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. We have a pokies room including an undercover outdoor smoking area. The hotel also has a bottle shop and ATM facilities. Plenty of parking available, with disabled access.
Our restaurant area can seat up to 200 people, and we have additional function areas available. We offer great promo nights and regular chef's specials in the restaurant. We have a barista bar, serving coffee's and cakes.
