Mackay Taxis

Quite possibly the worst taxi service in Queensland. After waiting 1.5 hours to be told I wa third in line, running home at 10:30pm was more efficient. Running the 9km home was quicker than getting a taxi…..

Paid $9 one way and $21 back how does that make sense.

I rang numerous times and the phone just cut out. I started walking home alone as i couldn't get a taxi. Kept dialing and finally got on to an operator who said could i stop walking and wait 40 minutes maybe for a taxi to be available in a very dark non residential area. Seriously is this the best Mackay taxis can do? Obviously if we want a night out we need to make plans that do not involve taxis
