  • How long are Roadworthy Safety Certificates valid for?

    For private sellers, a roadworthy certificate is valid for either 2 months or 2000kms, whichever comes first. For motor dealers, the certificate lasts for either 3 months or 1000kms.

  • Where are modification plates installed?

    Once certified a blue plate engraved with the information is riveted into the body of your vehicle, commonly near the compliance plate or in the engine bay. A Modification Certificate is also issued.
