Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor?
No. You do not need a referral to visit a chiropractor. However, a referral from your doctor IS required if you wish to make an insurance claim with TAC, Workcover or DVA. Also, if you wish to use Medicare CDM/EPC funding, eligibility requirements will need to be discussed with your medical doctor.
Can I get a rebate from my health fund?
Yes, as long as you have chiropractic included in your ‘Extras’ cover. The portion paid can be claimed in our office at the time of your visit through HICAPS, meaning you only need to pay the gap on the day. Rebates vary depending on the health fund and the type of policy you have, so check with your fund for details.
