Anyone thinking of using this company l suggest you ask to see a “certificate of currency” for their insurance before proceeding. I suspect they do not have any as claimed. They also seem to have perpetual truck problems, or it could just be a convenient excuse!

Would not use again. They do not have the truck that was promised. The move was going to be done in one hit with a large truck. Had to be done in two hits in a smaller truck. Apparently the big truck had broken down and the owner does not seem to have the resources or fix it. Some of our belongings including a TV were damaged in the move. Not sure the insurance, mentioned in their website, exists.

It was a pleasure to deal with the team and made the move easier . Our possessions were well respected as were we .

Be Warned-----Local & Country Removals -----Moving from the Gold Coast to Hervey Bay ,Steve quoted but required a $1000 deposit ASAP for pickup AM 24th October 2023 as we had to be out by the 25th October which I paid , the balance was to be paid cash on pickup .Two weeks before pickup he requested me to pay the balance he had truck problems ,I deposited the balance of $1625.00 ( big mistake).On the morning of the 24th October being pickup day he phoned and stated that he had truck problems and was not picking up our furniture ,by late afternoon, I was unable to hire a truck and my son in Hervey Bay hired a 3 ton truck and drove down to the Gold Coast . This was extremely stressful as my wife and I being 80 year old pensioners, we had to make 2 trips through the night to move our furniture .This was last October and now nearly 5 months later and after multiple phone calls ,emails and texting all I get is promises ,excuses and lies and still has not given me a refund .

Fantastic service worked in 36 degree heat and just stayed professional the whole time. Found a long lost apple watch and handed it back to me. Most places wouldn't. Quick and efficient Definitely would recommend

Steve and his boys moved my elderly parents and they did a fabulous job. They were efficient and always careful with the furniture. We found them polite and friendly, we would definitely use them again.

Have used Steve and his team on two moves within the last year. One move we had all our belongings stored by Steve and returned several days later. All the workers were very polite and respectful when dealing with them, no issues on either move and would recommend.

Steve has been a reliable removalist I've been able to rely on him for more then ten years.
