So here is a real review on local country removals. Getting the big move from the Goldy to Rural NSW quoted was quick and efficient everything was evaluated perfectly for packing even our mini ramp. The day before Steve had major health issues which left him with drain in his neck very server but it didn’t stop home.. this man knew I had a family to move to a destination very remote and rocked up on the day with two awesome workers who packed 83 cubic meters into two trucks . One of the trucks had issues and wasn’t able to come down directly the next day but Steve got it in and out the shop and on its way two days later life happens and Steve kept true to his word which I respect a lot . His workers Taylor and Jake I can’t speak more highly about those two guys they were very professional and hard working. So thank you Stave Taylor and Jake we are happy in our new home thanks for carting our life down here to us ⚡️🙌⚡️

Steve and his partner were a fantastic help in my move. They were able to accommodate for me on short notice and right before Christmas, and got it done in no time at all. Highly recommend.

They do not give you key and they don't tell you where your stuff is and they make you pay 1200 for a month and when you ask to get something out of storage they say why didn't you keep what you wanted out do not use this company they are dodgy as

We’ve now used Steve of Local & Country Removals twice. First time it was a move from our house of 40 years to a Brisbane apartment and then 3 years later from the apartment to a house down in the NSW northern rivers. The first move was a gut busting effort up 4 flights of stairs. The second move involved the storage of our stuff for a couple of weeks at Steve’s storage facility on the Goldy and this saved us heaps compared with the alternative of delivery to a separate intermediate storage. On both occasions Steve delivered a reliable, professional and honest service at an unbelievably good price. We have no hesitation in recommending this “rough diamond” to anyone who wants to move house.
