A very disappointing level of service is seen at Linda Emery & Associates in my experience My previous experience with solicitors in the past have been amazing, but sadly the Linda Emery & Associates is one of the worst to date. As it is mentioned, I found the services of Linda Emery & Associates to be filled with errors, rudeness, and questionable operations, especially during a pandemic. I found it is a case of many smiles, niceties and promises at sign up, then service goes dramtically downhill from there and is certainly not delivered on. On many occasions Linda Emery & Associates would often act without consent, send an excessive amount of emails and “doing things” unauthorised which ultimately is seen when invoiced. When provided specific instructions, they were typically meet with arguments, ignorance & what I would say is a short fuse. When errors were pointed out to Linda Emery & Associates, they were often meet with an excuse, or act as if it never happened. Terrible

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It is disappointing when a client does not want to accept advice and is consistently oppositional, and that their method of dealing with their matter is to write a negative review. I am very familiar with the writer and I do not agree with any of the client's assertions. As the client is now on the 4th solicitor, it indicates a pattern where the client does not want to accept legal advice. I have been a lawyer for 37 years and had my own practice for 30 years. I pride myself on my professionalism and accuracy, and the great results I have achieved for clients. This is attested to by my many clients, who have retained my services repeatedly over these years. I have at all times acted on instructions and all my staff are courteous and professional. It is very difficult when a client is not honest and transparent, as the Family Law Act requires. The client has received all files twice now, just to manage to satisfy a difficult person.

Very rude on first telephone conference...hung up on me when I tried to brief her....most arrogant in her manner.

Thanks for your feedback Nat. It was unfortunate I was unable to act for you, but you would not let me speak or provide the advice I was required by law to give in order to sign the certificate you needed. I understand you were emotional and stressed and frustrated as you told me other lawyers had advised you and one prior lawyer would not sign the certificate you needed. It was very disappointing you were speaking over the top of me and aggressive and abusive and for this reason I had to end the conversation. Not withstanding the efforts I made and the time I spent via phone calls and emails, there was no charge to you. I pride myself on my professionalism and my friendly and supportive approach. Clearly I was not able to progress to this stage with you. I wish you well.

Very disappointed. Linda didnt know much - most of her advice during the whole appointment was speculation by her own admission. Would have preferred that she told us up front she couldnt help us, rather than wasting our time and slapping us with an exorbitant fee. Went to another property lawyer after her, got the information we needed straight away. Would recommend going elsewhere if you dont want to risk it.

You asked many complex questions on various legal issues and at the time did not have all the information to hand and I gave comprehensive advice and wrote a list of actions for you to take to assist you and avoid the requirement for further appointments to minimise costs to you. 2. My fees were disclosed at the time of making the appointment and I in total spent 1.5 hours with you and charged you for one.

For one of the best law firms in Gosford, Linda Emery and Associates is the place to go with. Very friendly and experienced staff who were able to help us in our situation. They were very knowledgeable and offered some great advice. Would recommend to everyone as they help with a variety of services.
