Visited workshop to book time for inspection only. Was told by woman at desk I could pop down to Target for coffee while it was being done. On the appointed date and time I dropped off car, asked how long it would take and was told by mechanic he'd look at it shortly. A prior routine mechanical service saw the fault immediately, so I was prepared for up to 1.5 hours for them to look. After 2 3/4 hours I rang to see if ready (LOOK only, not doing job) and they hadn't even touched it. A waste of 3 hours for me.

Hi Sue Your inspection was next on the list today but unfortunately you wouldn't wait. We do not do mechanical services as your post says but the prior auto electrical job that was booked in before yours took more than 3 hours which happens often in our trade. Luckily most of our loyal customers are understanding when everything doesn't go according to plan. All you wanted today was for us to diagnose your air conditioning problem for you & then you were going to source your own parts, so we would be more than happy to look at your vehicle on a future date if that suits you.

We arrived into Rockhampton Sunday afternoon with serious brake issues on the van. I received a response to my email Sunday and they made time for us Monday morning. They identified the problem and organised with another business to assist us. Thanks to their efforts we were on the road again within a day. We are very grateful for the genuine assistance offered.
