Lake Macquarie Cruises

We cruised on the Lake just today; there were around fifty of us with most nudging 70. Firstly, thank you for organising such a wonderful day weatherwise, it was just sensational! The trip itself was excellent, the food very good and the staff, hardworking, diligent and extremely courteous. We had a great day and will be back next year for more of the same.

Another wonderful time on Lake Macquarie Cruisers as always. No improvements needed as they sure have it right, excellent staff, food, commentary and value for money. It was a Birthday treat for my friend, and she was overjoyed with such a wonderful day experienced. Thank you for another great day!!

This was our 2nd lunch cruise with Nova Cruises. This time we celebrated my husband’s birthday and had the perfect day on Macquarie Lake. The crew are terrific and so friendly and professional. We were sitting at a table on the upper deck with a roof above the tables. Lunch was served and was way above our expectations- 3 beautiful king prawns, a large barbecued steak, plus a long beef sausage. There was a great choice of salads plus a fresh baked roll. It was delicious followed by a choice of dessert. We spent 2.5 hours cruising the lake which is double the size of Sydney Harbour as we enjoyed the sunshine and views. We will be back.

We had a great time on our private Chirstmas party Cruise. Staff were excellent. Captain hugged the shore to avoid the wind and that was perfect. Well done to all the team.

Not long moved into the area and were pleased to have Lake Macquarie Cruises to show us how vast an area the lake covers. Lake Macquarie cruises supplied us with a sumptuous BBQ dinner and their cheerful service added to a great night out.

1st time me and my neighbour have used this boat 2.5 hr cruise,lunch was delicious and staff was great ..bad weather but still enjoyed our selves..will definitely be back when family visit from Sydney ...Thank you Sue Madden xxx

Was a great day and great value for money. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the food was great and the cruise was made interesting with all the history shared about the area. Would definitely recommend it!

Thanks for the lovely day out Nova my friends and I totally enjoyed our time out on the water with your lovely helpful staff! The captains commentary was very informative, we have lived on the lake most of our lives and wasn’t aware of some of its history. I would highly recommend this trip as value for money! The food was all nice fresh and plentiful! Liked the set up of tables already marked and named for passengers The only thing I would recommend for improvement would be the addition of a small step (which could be removed when not in use) to be placed under the high step leading onto the forward deck. We noticed a few less mobile passengers experience some difficulties climbing up and down this high step. Other than that thanks for a well organised pleasant day on the lake! 🤗 Regards Karen Elwell

A group of ladies went on the Loop the Lake cruise 13/11/25. We had a very enjoyable day the staff were vey courteous and friendly, meeting all our needs. The food was delicious. The commentary of the different areas was very helpful when trying to work out where we were. We’d definitely do another cruise. Thank you

Enjoyed the lunch cruise as usual. A visitor and 2 friends accompanied me and they were very impressed. The lunch was excellent, with fresh, tasty salads, sausages, steak and prawns. The staff are very efficient with all aspects of the day.

We thought the cruise was very good value. The staff were super friendly and looked after us very well. I thought it was good value for money
