I love King of Meats. I had previously been a bit anti-butcher as usually prices are so expensive at butchers compared to the supermarket and when I'm on a budget and feeding a family, have to watch the $. However I was pleasantly surprised the first time I shopped here to see their rump was actually cheaper then the supermarket at normal price, their crumb steak is my absolute favourite and their flavoured sausages are really yummy too - I often grab a couple of each flavour just to mix it up a bit. Customer service is fantastic, I've become a regular and even though I usually shop at Coles I'll drive over to the Woolworths complex just to get my meat from King of Meats. Happy customer, 2 thumbs up!!

The King of Meats would have to be the best butcher I have used in Mackay. The staff are friendly, courteous and most importantly very helpful whether it is recommending a cut of meat or the best way to cook it. The meat has always been of a top quality and is very good value for money. I would strongly recommend that you give these guys a go for your next meat shop. Even if you don't live in the Northern Beaches, it is very well worth the drive to see them.

Best crumbed steak in town. Loving the new recipe!!!! Fabulous, friendly staff who even provide cooking tips for the less confident :)

I have finally found THE most loveliest butcher with fantastic quality meat and service!! I never write reviews but the service, quality and price deserved to be shared. Chicken kebabs to die for! Grain feed rib fillet for $18 kg! And my kids LOVE LOVE LOVE the crumbed chicken fillets AND the chicken Kievs - Kievs were Devine and so fresh! Couldn't recommend these guys highly enough!

New owners have made a huge difference!!!! Great service, and great produce. Will go above and beyond to source any requests. Definitely no need for me to travel any further than King of Meats for meat any more!!

Extremely pleased to finally have a good butcher shop to go. Good price, top quality meat and Two thumbs up for the customer service. The uniforms, display windows and the shop is looking fantastic guys, Keep up the good work!!

I was warned about the deplorable service at this butcher, but preferred to make my own judgement. All I can say is.... RUBBISH! The staff working there are rude, unhelpful, and useless! I can't believe they are still in business. I was made to feel stupid and like a pain. To add insult to injury, they bloody overcharged me! DON'T give them a cent of your hard-earned cash!
