Was horrible - everything was overcooked - their batter was like concrete - forgot to give us our full order. Their staff were friendly though. Will never go there again.

one of the best fish and chip shops Townsville has got, i go there after school sometimes and i just love the potato scallops soooooo crunchy!

I lived in Kelso all of my life and I am now turning 16 in a few months and honestly Kelso Fish & Snack Bar is one of the best Fish and Chip shops I know in Townsville. The Fish is lovely (both crumbed and battered), chips are absolutely delicious, seafood is amazing and food is prepared within minutes, still fresh and hot. Prices are amazing and average and somewhat better than other competing fish bars and the proportions of food is unbelievable. For example a half of scoop of chips would be a 1 full scoop of chips at other fish & chip shops. Even the fish are amazingly large and every other thing on their menu. I've lived off the amazing, yummy, delicious, affordable and good sized food of Kelso Fish & Snack bar for all my life and I wouldn't go any other place and I definitely recommend it to every person in Townsville. Honestly if you want a good feed go there, you will not regret it. -Alex Oxo
