To repair a burst water pipe connection I hired a concrete cutter for half a day. Before I could return home a plumber had arrived and assessed that it would not be necessary to cut through a concrete path, and proceeded to fix the leak. Two hours after I had hired the concrete cutter I returned to Kawana Hire to return the it, and mentioned that as I had not needed to use the cutter, it would not need servicing. I was not seeking a refund of the hire fee, but after a brief inspection of the cutter the proprietors offered to refund in full the hire fee. While I have been a irregular client for many years, I was very pleasantly surprised with the offer, and will continue to patronise the business when I need machinery.

I hired a a staple gun I only need for a couple of days and completely forgot to return for over a week, they were super friendly and amazingly said “don’t worry about the extra charges”. Do yourself a favour and hire your gear from here you don’t get old fashioned service like that from the “franchise” big name chains.
