About K9 River Retreat

K9 River Retreat is a luxury boarding facility on a 100 acre river front property in Kuranda. The spacious, friendly bedrooms are equipped with lounge suits, beds and bean bags. Dogs have all day access to a large, safe and secure grassed area with slides, tunnels and waterplay. Dogs are taken for walks and have the option of going for a dip or a swim in the river. We have 30 years experience in the animal field and are able to take, high needs and convalescing dogs. We are able to administer all medications and injections. Qualifications: Diploma of Applied Science- Animal Technology Awards: Hero to Animals Award from PETA

Dear Petra and Chris Thank you so much for the care you have given Alby whilst we have been away over the past couple of months. Your overall professionalism puts our mind at ease and allowed us to enjoy our break without any concerns regarding Alby's care. We know Alby loves you taking him swimming daily and playing with your other guests. Staying with you is the closest thing to home for Alby. We also really appreciate and enjoy receiving your emailed photos of him at play whilst we are away. We couldn't recommend your retreat more highly to anyone.
