What is the best kind of landscaping to suit my aboveground pool?

JJ’s Pools & Spas don’t just offer design and pool construction services; we can design a landscape to suit your new pool. It is important to know which landscape best suits your swimming pool and there are things that need to be avoided. For example, grass for example will grow under your pool and up through the liner. We will carry out an onsite consultation before any contract is agreed so you know exactly what needs doing to your landscape to ensure the best results.

How often will I have to test my swimming pool water?

Once a week is usually best but most people test their water and chlorine levels twice a week. If you aren’t comfortable doing it yourself, JJ’s Pools & Spas will happily test your water and chlorine for you.

How do I know what pool design is best for me?

You need to determine what you want your pool for. It could be that you are looking to do more exercise or want a pool for the whole family to play in or both! Once you have decided, our designers will discuss your options and create the perfect pool to suit your individual needs.

Can I change the depth and shape of my existing pool?

Yes. JJ’s Pool & Spas can reconstruct the depth and shape of your existing pool. Most people choose to add pool features such as steps but we can change the depth as long as it is in conjunction with the new liner or finish.

Where can I buy pool chemicals and products?

JJ’s Pools & Spas can supply you will all the products you need for your new and existing pools. We recommend always purchasing your products from a professional so you can be sure you are using the right treatments and chemicals. Your pool is a huge investment and you need to prevent any potential problems.

Josie and Jason renovated our pool 3yrs ago now. What we had before was truly awful, surface delaminating, stairs that couldn't really be called stairs.... Just terrible. I called Josie, from the first I knew she was the person to help me. She saw the pool and then explained what was wrong, what needed to be done. We worked closely together to achieve the best outcome, being a reno we had to work within limitations which made it challenging. Then Jason came in and did the physical transformation. The craftsmanship was amazing from what he had to work with at first to what he transformed. We were more than impressed. To this day I still call Josie for advice and recommendations. The after service care is phenomenal!!! I get my water test, chemicals and upgrades in pool technology and information from them. They really have a passion for quality pools and their customers.

Do I need a safety fence around my above ground swimming pool?

Yes. In Australia every outdoor swimming pool must have safety fencing installed. This is a legal requirement and JJ’s Pools & Spas can install safety fencing as part of our services.

How long will it take to build my pool?

The time taken to construct your pool will depend on its size and pool features. Before your installation process takes place, we will give you an accurate estimate as to how long it will take. Bad weather conditions are usually the only thing that can add a slight delay.
