I have been a resident of Mackay, Qld since 1991, working as a self employed builder, mainly renovations and particularly bathrooms. I had an interest in photography whilst growing up in Sydney. But life had other ideas! During the last ten years or so, however, the photography bug has definitely awoken from it's long slumber. I am passionate about trying to preserve what's left of our natural environment and the creatures that inhabit it and capturing it's natural and often rugged beauty as best I can with my camera. Being a coast dweller I am naturally drawn to the limitless photographic possibilities that await in the early hours of the day, but I am also drawn to country and outback scenery in particular the beautiful Red Centre of this amazing continent.
