About JCU Dental
JCU Dental is a teaching clinic associated with James Cook University's Discipline of Dentistry Townsville campus. We support the university's vision to provide clinical experience to dental students while simultaneously offering comprehensive dental care to the Townsville public. JCU Dentistry students, alongside experienced dental professionals, perform all of our services and treatments. As a teaching clinic, appointments are expected to be longer in duration than other clinics. Our students learn how to perform emergency dental services as well as basic procedures including crown, bridge, dentures, periodontics, endodontics, and general and paediatric dentistry.
