Took our Toyota Prado in for 4 new tyres and brake pads the day before we went on a camping trip. The next day we could hear a noise in the front drivers wheel. Upon a closer inspection we found a clip rattling around in the wheel centre cap. After taking a closer look at the cap i could see that 4 out of the 6 clips had been freshly broken. I took the cap back into them when we got home to be told that they will only glue the cap back on and this is what they always do if they break them. So after spendin over $1400 the best they offered to do was glue on something that they broke, and i had to spend $56 on a new one out of my own pocket. Will never be going back there ever again. Nice way to treat your local customers.

Damaged thread when removing 02 sensor, tack welded it into place to hide mistake. Store admits to tack welding but refuses to refund. Keeps saying is under warranty return car, hard to return car after that. To fix properly around $2000. I had been using store for both my cars for years. They know I am ex defence on a DVA pension and budget my money, they know I am having difficulties right now. They know my wife is currently stuck overseas. They know money at moment is tight. It sucks some businesses do not care who they rip off, even if it is a veteran on a disability pension.

Trusted them to fix car as I have no mechanical knowledge. Car was still playing up, returned it to store and told was ok. Decided to seek advice from another mechanic. Found out JAX had damaged O2 Sensor while trying to remove. Then tack welded it back into place. Advice from Kia and other mechanics is it should not have been tack welded. To fix is an expensive job. Tried sorting it out with store and head office. Even though JAX admitted in text they tack welded and apologised for not telling me refuse a refund. Repair is going to be around $2000.
