Jason has helped me a lot with my very challenging thoroughbred.

Most importantly YOU are getting more confident! That's why you got me to your place in the first place.

Jason started my Clyde x . It was a fantastic experience for the horse and myself. Jason’s approach was very patient and calm towards the horse which enabled her to gain confidence and a good foundation for future training. When picking up the horse I could see a difference. She has gained respect and self confidence in hand and under saddle. Overall the experience has been profession and enjoyable. Glenwood Farm-is an excellent facility and I felt the horse were in very good hands.

Thanks David, I wish you both many safe years of riding. I will look forward to seeing you at some clinics.

Jason has started 2 horses for me now both very different. One an Irish sport horse the other an Arab pony. I am very happy with the sport horse who was started 14 years ago and has been an excellent well rounded mount ever since. I just picked up the pony today and am very happy with the way he has her going. Jason is professional, reasonably priced and the horses are happy and in excellent condition. Glenwood Farm where the horses were agisted and worked has excellent safe paddocks and facilities.

Thanks Brigitte, really appreciate your support over some many years. Happy Trails

I sent my young Friesian mare to Jason, she was green, young, unbalance and my confidence had a hit, Jason was supportive and really listened to my goals. After each week he would communicate with me on the weeks progress. We now have a lesson once a week and are kicking goals, she is much more balanced, carm, happy horse, my confidence has grow so much. The nice thing is, she loves him!!

Wow what a journey we are on with Ghia! Thanks for the opportunity to point you both in the right direction I'm learning heaps.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is horsemanship?

Horsemanship is the art and skill of riding, training, and caring for horses. It encompasses a wide range of activities, including riding, grooming, feeding, and understanding horse behaviour.

When should I start my baby under-saddle?

It depends on the breed of the horse. The warm and cold blooded horses from 4yrs old as the skeleton doesn't stop changing until 7 yrs old. The hotter blooded horses from 2.5 yrs old. The best thing to do is ask your vet if your horse is physically mature for the starting process.
