Jason McInnes Atomic Horsemanship

Jason has a very kind and sympathetic way of working with both the horse and rider. He explains very clearly the reasoning behind what he is doing in a way the makes sense. I could see the positive change in my horse after one lesson. I also like that he is willing to travel to me to teach as well.

We initially left our quarter horse and OTTT with Jason to work on their balance and softness. As well as this we did individual lessons with Jason so he could retrain us - the riders 😀. As a coach, he clearly explains what he is trying to teach you in a calm and reassuring way. Both myself, my husband and our horses grew through this process using Jason’s knowledge. We are trail riders and Jason’s coaching gave us tools to better understand our horse and subtly communicate with our horses out on the trail to maximise our enjoyment and address any problematic behaviours. I couldn’t recommend Jason any more - and to top it all off he’s a great guy.

I had Jason help me with my young warmblood in his initial backing process. He was able to work with his sensitivity and nervousness about the process and the end result for me was a confident riding horse and I was a very happy lady. :)

Absolutely loved having Jason Mcinnes as my riding instructor and horse trainer, not only did he give me the confidence and tools to be able to handle any situation that may arise with my young horses he also gave me the knowledge and skills to build trust and confidence in the horse building a sustainable reliable partnership between horse and rider and he did it in a way that was easy for me to understand, when I didn’t understand he’d find a way for me to “get it” Jason is very respectful to the horses and there welfare in his methods of training and he has always been very generous with his time, knowledge and expertise as well as very patient in his delivery of training both with the horse and the rider, I highly recommend Jason for any stages of training for both the horse and the rider, he is reliable, dedicated, professional and very passionate about his work.

Jason went out of his way to enable me to have a lesson with my two horses. He was very patient and understanding of concerns I had with them and was very patient and calm with my young horse who has trust issues with people. My horses responded very positively to Jason and his manner. Jason was quick to identify and give activities to help resolve and to work through some of the issues. My horses and I are looking forward to future work with Jason.

I recently entrusted Jason to work with my two horses due to some hurdles I was facing. He was able to get both boys under saddle, along with this I have seen remarkable changes in both horses; they are respectful, more quiet and enjoy the company of people now more than ever. The horses are less forecful and are more receptive to respecting each other's space. Jason also provided me with training to ensure I was able to read my horses more clearly and to ensure I was communicating more efficiently with them, I believe this is why they seem a lot happier. His gentle horsemanship is second to none and I can't recommend him highly enough. Forever grateful Jason has given both me and my horses the skills we need to ensure a lifetime of happiness together.

Jason works really well with horse and rider. He clearly communicates his techniques and has the horses well-being at the forefront.

Jason has been very patient and has come down to the level of my riding ability. In 5 short weeks Eddy and I have learnt so much from the easy understanding instructions given by Jason. I recommend Jason for any level of riding and horsemanship he teaches.

I recently had the pleasure of placing a relatively green horse into Jason's care for some ongoing education. Would confidently recommend Jason to anyone looking to further their horses education. I witnessed the amazing and rapid change an experienced and gentle horseman brings to your horse.
