Brett (Building Inspector) did a great job, took lots of photos, was verbally informative and the written report was comprehensive. Brett found the property needed a new roof etc. so was so grateful that we choose a company that did such a thorougher job on and inside the roof and everywhere else. The pest inspector Rudy (?) gave a inexpensive quote for a termite barrier. Meelisa who did the booking was lovely she was so helpful going through the companies' terms and didn't appear to mind that I asked a lot of questions. We'll be using them again.

Got my inspection done. Was recommended through the real estate was buying through. They conveniently FORGOTTEN to say it was a 'Decramastic roof' that had been previously been leaking and having issues and I will have to replace it. They have all the clauses in their report that helps them to get away saying anything they want. They have put my family in the worse position. I will have to replace the entire roof because of their negligence.

This inspection was carried out one year ago in June 2017 during an extended dry period. The client was on site for his inspection and was aware that the roof was metal and metal tile. Whilst the roof surface showed weathering, there was no apparent physical damage to the roof surface or visible damage / staining to the ceilings under as the house had been repainted throughout. Roof maintenance was recommended on the report. The client contacted our office late October 2017 regarding roof leaks after a significant rain event. Our company attended the property to follow up on client concerns, upon inspection of the roof surface it was noticed that a significant amount of silicone had been freshly applied to the roof and that extensive damage / denting had occurred to the metal roof tiles from untradesmanlike work practices during maintenance work. The Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) conducted a full investigation of the property as a result of client concerns and it was determined that our company had inspected the property in accordance with the Australian Standard (AS. 4349.1) and that we could not have been reasonably expected to suspect roof leaks due to lack of staining or damage and extended dry weather.
