About Ian's Driving School

Ian's Driving School has been teaching people to drive safely since 2001. Based in the Wollongong area, Ian tutors students of all ages, from those just starting out to those brushing up on their road rules. Learning to drive is a lifeskill that many take for granted. At Ian's Driving School, you will learn how to be a safe and confident driver on the open road. We have late model Mazda 2 and Mazda 3 cars fitted with dual controls. You can choose from automatic or manual transmission as well. We provide driving lessons as part of the Keys 2 Drive program, as well as pre-test preparation for those going for their first licence. We also provide training for overseas licence conversions and refresher training.

Ian Hill is indeed a gentleman and an accomplished communicator - the essential gift in professional teaching! The way Ian teaches young drivers ... and the young at heart seniors needing assessment to keep driving on open roads, is so effective: - Ian imparts knowledge clearly and in such a caring way which puts the driver at ease (calms the nerves) the driver feels valued and empowered to drive safely. Ian is a great teacher. I found him to be friendly and helpful. Most all he was patient as he taught me the finer parts of driving and this is what helped me to pass the final exam. He has built a confidence in me that helps me to be a safe driver on the road. Thank you, I am very grateful.

Ianâ€™s Driving School gives a quality service with a quality instructor. The instructor is amazing and will definitely put you through your paces as you prepare for the ultimate driving test. He is patient and has the ability to keep you calm when you are ready to have a little â€˜freak-outâ€™. His lessons are worth every penny. Highly commendable.
