Am I expected to pay my account on the day of consultation?

Yes. We accept payments by Eftpos, credit card or cash. Fees are charged in line with the Australian Medical Association (AMA) recommended fee schedule.

Are our doctors no gap providers?

We charge a small gap if you need to attend the day surgery of $250. If you require advance pain therapies, the gap is $1800. Other than these out of pocket expenses, our Pain Management Specialists accept the health fund rebate which is 75% provided by Medicare and 25% provided by your health fund.

In addition to consulting on non-procedural methods of pain management, Hunter Pain Specialists offer over 50 different procedural solutions to assist in the management and/or minimisation of chronic pain.
