Be aware of solicitors who engage in tactical manoeuvring to maximize their fees. Their procedures and advice can work to the detriment of contracts/deals resulting in a dreadful outcome for all parties. As a retired accountant I have seen solicitors acting in their own interest trigger contracts to crash. These solicitors acted for the other side and as I had a useless lawyer who was easily intimidated, they were able to control events to add fees (penalties).

Gina was great helping me through my divorce and I'm really happy with the outcome. Couldn't recommend her and her team highly enough. Was kept informed throughout the whole process, and she talked me through everything I needed to know in an easy, understandable way. Then helped with the sale of our property, which was smooth and easy thanks to her office. Negotiated a settlement I couldn't have achieved without her help. Thank you SO much!! Happy to recommend.

Have just bought and sold property and used Hughes Lawyers on recommendation from a friend. No problems at all - everyone was helpful and all went smoothly - can't understand anyone with complaints! Costs were as quoted and Gina and the girls were really easy to deal with, gave lots of advice and help along the way. Will definitely go back and highly recommend. A big thank you for making it so easy for us!!! (and REALLY affordable).

Just HORRIBLE!! Rip offs, Lazy, rude and I would not recommend these lawyers (if you call them that) to ANYONE! These morons caused us a lot of distress. They ripped us off and our buyer off. Was quoted an amount for buying and selling and then charged $110 extra whenever they felt like it. Hughes Lawyers made an extra $650 out of us from what we were told it would cost. I will also make a formal complaint to the legal commission.
