Hudson Plumbers is a family owned and operated business. Originally founded by John Hudson almost 30 years ago in the southern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. During this time the company specialized in the plumbing, drainage and gas installations for new homes, units, townhouses and light commercial projects throughout South Australia. He also employed many subcontractors, and then both of his sons entered into the family plumbing business as apprentice plumbers. The company moved to Gold Coast, Queensland and in 2002 and commenced contracting for local building companies from both Brisbane and the Gold Coast.In 2006 John retired from plumbing and the family business. The family business is now in partnership between Michael and Rebecca Hudson In 2007 our company purchased a 3.5 tonne Yanmar excavator for use on all drainage excavations which delivers great convenience for our clients as pre-booking machinery is no longer an issue. We also have maintenance equipment including 2 drain cleaning machines, CCTV Drain camera and locator should any emergencies arise. We are licenced gas fitters and licenced to test backflow prevention devices. We are members of the Master Plumbers Association and are registered Green plumbers for sustainable plumbing solutions.2008 was a very successful year for our family business, winning the major plumbing industry award for Domestic/Residential Plumbing project of the year for Queensland. 2009 saw Hudson Plumbers open the sister company of Hudsun Solar Hot Water and Sustainable Hot Water Solutions for all your energy efficient Hot water needs.
