HME Electrical cleaned my 6 aircons in September 2020. They completely pulled apart the unit and high pressure cleaned the parts. After they finished the aircon in the lounge was not working at all. To their credit they came back and fixed the problem and the aircon was fine. About a week later we noticed that the study was blowing room temp air and was not cooling down like it used to. I called them and they sent someone to look. He spent time looking at the unit and checking the temp and couldn't see any fault in his readings. In the end he concluded it had to do with my settings and took off the energy saving mode off and the aircon seemed to be working a bit better. Since then the aircon still only works if we have it on 18 and on high. The motor just keeps running non stop it doesn't cycle down when it reaches temperature. The fact is our aircon is broken it has not worked properly since they cleaned it. Now another aircon has completely broken and needs replacing.

Moved into a new rental and one of our aircons wasn’t working, called HME to come take a look and they sent a senior technician to find the problem and was told the aircon was no good, faulty wiring, old system ra ra ra and that we’d need a new system. A few weeks later, I was messing around with it again and fixed whatever the problem was. Got charged $160 for them to tell me the aircon was no good, even though it works perfectly. The technician wasn’t even at my house for more than 5 minutes. Also got quoted for a new aircon installed through them, which was heavily over priced compared to the other places I got quoted from.
