Pre & Post Operative Rehab (Post surgical rehabilitation)
In the weeks leading up to surgery it is extremely important to strengthen and mobilise your bidy so that the best possible surgical outcomes occur – there is a string evidence based to support what is known as “pre-habilitation”.
In the weeks and months following an operation, we’ll help you reduce your pain, reclaim your mobility, get moving again, and get you back to living life pain free.
Heyday Health and Physiotherapy can provide a programme – tailored specially for you and your condition – to minimise your pain and maximise your recovery. Your programme may include physiotherapy, gym-based exercise and/or pool-based exercise.
We have extensive experience in managing patients undergoing knee, hip, spinal and shoulder surgery. This includes, but is not limited to surgeries such as partial or full joint replacements, tendon and ligament repairs, fixations, fusions or discectomy’s.
We have close working relationships with the Gold Coast’s and Brisbane’s top orthopaedic specialists, and will communicate with your surgeon to ensure we have a complete understanding of both your operation, and the post-op care you need.
