The one-type-suits-all approach of national chains was not suited to my eye problems and our scary family history of eye disease. I need what Heron Eyecare provides—the latest equipment and passionate up-to-date professionals working at the cutting edge of eye health. My eyesight is too important to me to go bargain hunting for eye care. My eyes have complicated problems and our family history shows I am at risk of further eye problems as I get older. We are blessed to have the team at Heron Eyecare who have the knowledge, experience, expertise and equipment to give me confidence and peace-of-mind that we are working together to give me the best eye health possible, not just currently but into the future. Not recommended. My wife is a pensioner who was charged over $150 for an eye exam which is normally covered by Medicare. Due to the incompetence of staff coding no rebate was paid. Only after a complaint, a partial rebate was paid off less than $60.00. Out-of-pocket for an eye exam ripoff. Shameful.
