At Helga’s Pet Resort your Dog, Cat, Bird or Small Pet is cared for in a secure, air conditioned semi-rural setting a short 10 min drive from Palmerston in Virginia. I left my dogs here for 11 days, NEVER again! Dogs came back in appalling condition and the owner did not care one bit.....until I publicly posted on social media.

Staff appear to care, unfortunately our little fella had been in contact with faeces and was a uncomfortable trip back to the caravan park. His bedding was also involved. 1st night back with us in the caravan he needed to be let out 5 times during the night, however he still managed to have 2 incidences of diarrhoea. Maybe unrelated but is the first time this has happened. I would like to say something nicer.

Think the dogs were looked after okay I THINK?? Young girl was lovely but can’t say same girl owners. PR skills we’re none existed made no communication to us how the dogs went . Said whose your dogs and trotted us down got ‘em out and didn’t even acknowledge the dogs. Had no interest in dogs or the humans at all. Felt like Everyone is just a number .
