My car broke down and they picked it up with their tow truck and took it back to their business they thought they were going to be the allocated and repairer and they charge me 120 dollars to diagnose my car with the Seized motor went out to pick my car up and started first go and it drove it all the way back to Bundaberg rang them and ask for more money back for the false diagnosis and they hung up on me very rude very unprofessional mechanics looks like they are just trying to take me to what they can. I would highly recommend boycotting this business.

My car broke down last Sunday afternoon driving home from Rockhampton to Brisbane Once my breakdown service had engaged HD mechanical , David took the stress out of that experience for me by doing a test on my car the next morning, advising that it needed to go to Honda and calling my breakdown provider to make that happen. All by lunchtime the next day I'm very greatfull that there are businesses around still like David's

Excellent staff, came out to me and checked my car alternator and electronics. Repaired wires and found battery problem as well and replaced it. Fantastic friendly service and a great bloke. Thank you we can now enjoy the weekend and festival at Childers and not worry about getting around and home again.

5 stars is not enough for the outstanding service provided to us. The clutch in our car broke down Saturday afternoon, we organised for HDMS to pick it up Monday morning and the vehicle was repaired Tuesday afternoon!! Excellent customer service and great feedback. Very genuine and caring people. Can't recommend them highly enough. The telephone diagnosis and quote was spot on with no hidden extras.

Broke down today at Mammino’s ice cream place at Childers. Googled mechanics and got HD mechanics. I was told someone would be there in ten minutes. What prompt fantastic professional affordable service. Thank you so much. Highly recommend HD mechanical.

As a passer by in Childers I had cause to visit Dave at the Garage. Wow! What a surprise with the quality, expertise and professionalism from a loca, business. On the advice of Barry from the Avacado I went to Dave with a problem. His prompt service and knowledge left me flabbergasted. He took the time to explain every aspect of the problem after he ran the computer over it.. When he suggested a fuel cleaning octane additive I said I will buy that from you. He told me he would love to sell it to me, but said he would rather me use high octane fuel to cleanse the problem sensors. It may not be too late. I wish he had our local garage in the Valley. Dave and the team your blood is worth bottling. I thank you so much. Cheers for your future

Absolutely amazing and great service. Dropped in unannounced for emergency car repairs, they immediately started working on the car and had the issue fixed in a timely manner. For any issues car related, strongly recommend going here.

Dave was absolutely fantastic when I failed my dual battery. He did a full check of the system for me and got me back on the road almost straight away and with my fridge running. Great guy and great service. Definitely recommend HD Mechanical Services in Childers

Dave has been more than helpful. As soon as we rang him, he directed us where to go to get to his business -he checked our van when we got there and offered numerous options. One of his boys drove 90mins to Gympie and back to retrieve a 2nd hand gearbox. They gave us a time frame and a price and they stuck to it. Excellent service, fantastic team.
