I have never seen anything quite like it. I had a wonderful experience! I was like a jump back in time. I got a very interesting guided tour from one of the volunteers. There are a few historical places left in Maitland. This place is fully furnished, complete and fully decorated with a period-appropriate interior. There are also so many artifacts and antiques here.

The team of volunteers is wonderful! They create events, walks and art exhibitions that are a step back in time to wander through the house and see it. The Grossman House is a historical treasure in Maitland.

We spoke to Sally, who is part of the Maitland Council. She was great to talk to and knew about the history and upcoming changes of the Maitland Area. There is a $2 donation entry for an informative tour of the history of Maitland, including clothing from the 50s and 60s. This is a lovely historic house with some great and informative volunteers.
