Rude, arrogant, aggressive. Made vanity which was ordered & installed in my bathroom by a handyman. Rough edges;drawers open only halfway {apparently some people ask for that!!} and twist sideways,bumping into gloss white {for now} side panel;don’t open/properly. Said he discussed potential problems with handyman but neither saw fit to tell me !! Said handyman asked him to keep costs down-did he ask for a dodgy unit that doesn’t work?? No explanation of why he made and accepted payment for a sub-standard unit he knew is not fit for purpose. Told me my design is the problem and that’s what I asked for. Took no professional responsibility at all. Agreed to make changes but no action,then offered to make a new unit of very different design. I am not able to use the unit as IT DOES NOT WORK !! Shocking workmanship, zero customer care, zero professionalism. Had to give him one star to submit this review-should be none. Plenty of reputable local businesses to choose from. Avoid this guy

TLDR, I had a very poor experience with Fraser Coast Kitchens. Don't make my mistake relying verbal communication. Get everything in writing. I got a quote to install a dishwasher (bought prior). The quote had standard text on it saying plumbing & electrical not included. I had requested a quote for the entire job and it seemed very expensive ($585 plus gst) for such a small job so I called to check. I was reassured the quote was for complete job so went ahead and paid the $300 deposit (figuring they needed this because to engage plumber & electrician). No further contact for 3 months. Finally turned up unannounced at 8am on Sat morning after I requested my deposit back. 2 hrs later as he was finishing up, the tenant asked when the power point and plumbing would be done and was told she would be called on Monday. Peter now denies discussing plumbing and electrical. I've been told I should have read the fine print and payment demanded with recovery action threatened.
