A lot of patients are pleasantly surprised that they rarely feel anything during an acupuncture treatment. Most patients feel extremely relaxed and many even fall asleep. Patients that are needle-phobic still have treatment options that do not include needles. Acupressure, non-insertive needles, moxibustion, cupping and tuina are all techniques that can be used in combination or in place of acupuncture, when necessary.
