About Dundee�s Restaurant on the Waterfront

One of the best waterfront dining spots in Cairns. With a diverse menu specialising in the freshest seafood from the region and the finest steaks from the grill, Australian food specialists, pastas and salads, Dundees have something to suit everyone. WERE OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK for coffee, lunch and dinner. Located directly on the boardwalk, beneath Cairns Harbour Lights Hotel, you can sit back and enjoy alfresco dining as you watch the Reef boats to and from the Great Barrier Reef. Or, if you prefer, you can dine in air conditioned comfort. If you are looking to kickstart your day on the waterfront, we offer coffee, fresh juices and smoothies. Why not enjoy a takeaway deli lunch or sit in the cocktail lounge where you can enjoy a great snack menu. Our cocktail lounge is the perfect place to chill out and enjoy the fantastic views over the boardwalk and Trinity Inlet, whilst enjoying a cocktail or two. For functions and parties, Dundee's have a private dining area that can accommodate 28 guests. We accept catering for weddings, cocktail parties, conferences and other special occasions. At Dundee's Restaurant on the Waterfront, you are sure to have a unique and enjoyable dining experience. 10 ✰ plus .The Food is out of this world. We make the special trip from Rockhampton just to eat here. The attention to detail, the freshness of the food, and the seasoning elevates every single dish that leaves the pass. The restaurant’s dishes to more than 5 ✰. Our food was cooked with love. It was prepared perfectly and seasoned well. Presentation was picture perfect. The staff made sure the food and drinks came out in a timely manner and they were so lovely. It is a pleasure to dine here over and over. Other establishments really need to take a lesson from this place as they make the customers feel special and the food is orgasmic. Had lunch there today with my mum and my wife. The service was excellent, the food sublime and the atmosphere perfect. I'm a Cairns local and I will definitely be back.

Excellent meal.i had the moreton bug salad which was a generous delicious serve but with two over cooked nearly empty beer battered bug carcases that can be treated as garnish.dry and tough but the meat in the slad was luscious plentiful and moist.perfect with the chardonay.i thoroughly recommend this place for good food service and prices.

I would give this place 3 stars but given the price I have placed as 2. The food here is average at best. The sourdough bread was the highlight of the meal. Meals were tasteless and did not come with what was written on menu. Service was ok I have had better service at other restaurants on our stay. Would not recommend to people given the price you can get much nicer prepared food for a lower price. Nice view though

My wife & I are regulars at Dundees! Can't fault the place. Quality food and top spot over looking the marina. Huge range of food and wine.

Perfect service and food. But you will pay an expensive price for that. Prepare your money, if you have enough money and want excellent things, you go and find them.

Really enjoyed our food here. Entree and main meal were tip top. I didn't have dessert but my wife did......also amazing. We'll be back next holiday.

Excellent wait staff and great food. I think someone named Dean served us. He was very obliging and split our bill into seats so it was easy to pay.

Had breakfast at Dundees and was very impressed with everything they have on offer there. Five stars for food and service. Breakfast tower for 2 was amazing.
