I am a returning customer of Dryology. Last year they cleaned my carpet for $185.00, arrived promptly worked efficiently and well and emailed me an invoice for the job on completion. Great! This year ( June 2017) when I called to book a carpet clean, (same house, same carpet) the company owner requested cash for the job, to be paid on the day and told me there might be a slight increase on 2016's price. On the appointed day, after I had picked up tables, chairs, lamps etc and removed all items that might slow down the cleaning process AND taken the day off work AND visited the atm for the cash they requested, the carpet cleaners; Dryology failed to show up. A phone call to the 1300 number a "much bigger job" had come in and they were very busy. Nevertheless we rearranged the booking for later that day. The owner arrived, walked over the carpet to be cleaned and told me that an additional $100.00 was needed to cover the job. If we weren't happy he would just "pack up and leave". Since I had taken the day off work, moved furniture around to accommodate I felt I had no choice but to agree. Do I feel ripped off? You bet I do. Would I use Dryology again? Never. Would I recommend to friends? Of course not. Use them at your peril.
