About Drovers Pizza Cruises
Owner/operators husband-and-wife team Shane and Jodie have been involved in the pizza and restaurant industry for over 20 years and have had several restaurants on the Sunshine Coast as well as back in Melbourne. Shane learned his skills as a pizzaiolo in such iconic places as Lygon St. and Chapel St. In 2014, they came up with the idea of combining their passion for pizza with their love of the Mooloolaba River, and so the concept of building a custom wood fired cruising restaurant began. Five years later, that concept is now a reality with The Drover, conducting regular pizza, craft beer, and wine tasting cruises departing from the Mooloolaba Marina daily.

Are there minimum booking numbers?
A minimum of 6 guests is required for a cruise, and we have a maximum of 10 to ensure maximum comfort. While you cruise the Mooloolaba River, you will be waited on by the staff aboard The Drover and enjoy a buffet of bruschetta and garlic bread along with our award-winning Italian wood fired pizzas. Our pizzas are hand-stretched and prepared fresh all on board and made with the finest ingredients.
Is there an age requirement?
There is a minimum age requirement of 12 years on the standard pizza cruises and 18 years for craft beer and wine tasting cruises. The Drover is fully licensed and offers a variety of local craft beers and wines, spirits, soft drinks, and water. There is a full en suite with toilet and vanity on board along with club lounge-style, modular seating.
