I attended an independent medical examination at this practice in Wollongong for a NSW workers compensation claim. My experience was negative. During the consultation, the examiner appeared to understand the severity of my neck, nerve and arm injuries, however the final report did not reflect what I remember discussing. In my opinion, the report downplayed my pain, overlooked important symptoms and has been relied on by the insurer to justify a low whole person impairment rating and a review of my weekly payments. I am sharing this so other injured workers are aware of my experience and can make their own informed decisions.
