About Darwin Turf Club

The Darwin Turf Club prides itself on being one of Australian's most desirable destinations for thoroughbred racing, events and hospitality. With a total race course circumference of 1,780 metres and a home straight length of 340 metres, the track is unique to others in Australia as it is made from sand mixed with treated oil substance, as opposed to the traditional turf overlay.

I love the turf club, always a great day out and family friendly which is great!!!

Great atmosphere, always very well maintained and tidy, Great meals on offer from the Ted Baileys Grandstand and favourite drinks from the bar. Excellent service from the staff working there every time I've been, and its always a good time, look forward to the upcoming race day with mates.
