Across a few weeks in the Alice region we had cause to take our series 100 into Sarj unannounced on two occasions. Minor issues. He dropped everything & sorted us on the spot with a smile & no charge. Cannot speak highly enough of Sarj, knows his stuff, would love to have him as my mech back home.

Had an issue with steering in our 100 series. Sarge took a look underneath and played around in the engine and sorted us out with some oil all free of charge. Top bloke and really knows his stuff. Couldn't recomend him more highly!

We had a major problem last June (2021) on our way from WA to QLD. Our Prado lost the front wheels bearings on the Larapinta Drive from Uluru, and it was Friday afternoon. We tried a couple of mechanics when we limped to Alice Springs, all were booked out. We (frankly, by sheer accident) found the Cruiser Auto Repairs – Sarj was willing to do the job the next morning – it was Saturday. The wheel bearing hubs were replaced by the midday the same day. We were on the way again. The service was not just prompt, it was immediate, excellent and with a smile, and Sarj is the most fantastic mechanic I ever dealt with. We were so impressed, that on our way back we decided to get a service for our truck, following over 10,000kms drive thru the NT Outback. We called Sarj, and again, the next day the car was serviced with the smile. Thank you Sarj – wish you were a typical mechanic. FULLY RECOMMEND.
