About Portsmith, QLD
Portsmith is a suburb in the Cairns Region of Queensland. It was named after William Smith, one of the pioneers in the area. The industrial suburb was cut out from the residential suburb called Bungalow in 1973. Now, the boundary between the two suburbs is Hartley Street.
