What is a Podiatrist?
Podiatrist is an Allied Health professional who has studied the examination, treatment and management of the foot and lower limb conditions at university. They are your specialist in all things feet.
Do I need a referral?
Generally, no. However, you will require a GP referral for the following; – Gold/white DVA card holdersPatients on EPC (Enhanced Primary Care Plan) or GP Management plan’s (eligible for up to 5 Medicare Subsidised allied health visits per calendar year) ** Please note that these appointments are NOT bulk billed or free of charge.
