Vehicle booked for basic service on 200 series. Charged over $700 which is staggering for an oil change service. Advised of loose roofrack bolts tho they didnt tighten, advised service was very thorough tho didnt take wheels off car to inspect brakes ect instead did a RW brake test. Workmanship and communication ok but would not go back at those prices. Very dissapointed

Hello Dal, appreciate the feedback. I have investigated your claim over the phone about our labour rates, all staff involved with your claim have been here for several years, we have resolved that you were informed of our labour rate as of January 2021= $159.50 including (not $88). We always make a point to inform new customers of our charges so there are no surprises. Detail, and actually performing the inspections required in our service takes time, nearly all of our customers require that detail to ensure their vehicles remain reliable in a unforgiving climate. Our 90 point services often come in at $1320-1780 including GST, base time of 6 hours, some can occupy us for 15 hours or more. This is normal out here. As for the roof rack, I recall this required your entire roof top tent to be removed to access a specialized bolt, that was found cross threaded, it was agreed this would take some time and you would handle it. Safe travels.

Worst experience possible with these so called mechanics. Have cost me thousands of dollars and they take no responsibility for their incompetence. I DO NOT RECOMMEND unless you want to throw your money away

Hello Robyn. Thank you for your feedback and appreciate your concerns. This job is far more complex than can be described within this text. All work was done with due care and skill, and as you know, we have been in discussion to resolve the issues and to complete any warranty repairs that may be required. Any further work will be handed as required once all inspections of the work are completed.

WORST EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE. Overcharged. Does not accept responsibility fir any of his or teams mistakes. Charged freight for parts that had to replace incorrectly ordered parts nit once but twice. Charged for oil change but found out later when broke down this wasn’t done. Failed to re engage split gears before putting gear box back. Now I am told by manager I have to prove these gears were working prior to them starting work and if I want it fixed I have to pay again to have gear box removed to repair. I travelled 600kms day after getting vehicle back and broke down due to overfilled engine oil. They tried to charge 25 hrs labour to install slave and master cylinders. Normally takes average mechanic 2.5hrs. Was spoken to like I was an idiot. If you want to keep your thousand msg of dollars please, please do not go to this mechanic. I am now having to pay another mechanic to repair the damage this one has done. NO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Thank you CDM and Brendan for taking the time to explain the outcome of my vehicle service today. For the first time I walked out of a workshop having a clear understanding of the mechanical state of my car and what I am working towards next service. Awesome!
