Do I need a referral from my GP?
Chiropractors are primary healthcare practitioners, therefore a referral is not necessary for most situations.
Will I need x-rays or other imaging?
Your Chiropractor will take an initial history and perform an examination, they will determine from this if further imaging is required to determine to give you the best treatment. Your Chiropractor can refer you for spinal X-rays and if necessary, can organise other imaging. If you have any X-rays, CT scans, or MRIs we encourage you to bring them to your appointment.
