About Copeland Estates Legal

Getting your legals sorted just gets pushed to the back of the list because pressing more issues that require your family's attention. Legal's can take time and time is something you might be short on. We can help. We are an online firm that can make things happen form the comfort of your own home. Hi, I'm Delphine Copeland (call me Del). I am a solicitor, a wife and a mother. I have looked after estate planning clients and Executors & Administrators of deceased estates for well over 10 years. Lucky me: I get a kick out of helping people and I love what I do. I created Copeland Estates Legal to offer simple online and mobile estate legal solutions that can be done from the comfort of your own home or office, with or without instructing a solicitor to do it all for you. Our prices are on our (virtual) front door. We celebrate happy clients rather than hours billed. We use technology for better outcomes and better client experiences to fit in with your busy life. We want to help the community, share kindness. Book a free 10 minute chat with a lawyer to find what we can do for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does superannuation form part of your estate?

Not necessarily. The trustee of your super fund will usually have the discretion to decide who gets your super if you don’t have a valid death nomination in place and your Will can sometimes play a role.

Are trusts only for large estates?

Not necessarily. Sure, big estates can benefit from tax concessions of having a Testamentary Trust Will crystallise on your loved one’s passing. But trusts can also help if you need to look after someone who is disabled or someone who may mismanage their inheritance, or if you are trying to protect against a certain risk.
