Our huge Sunshine Coast warehouse manufactures all shade products giving our customers the best results. Our experienced and qualified team can manufacture in all kinds of canvas and PVC requirements. We also design and fabricate waterproof shades and sails, awnings, all outdoor blinds and umbrellas. Having fabricated and installed over 500 shade solutions we have tried and tested many different products and only use specifically selected materials and components designed to withstand our often brutal climate. Do shade sails blow away?
No. Shade sails are secured in place by stainless steel riggings that are attached to your walls or roof. They also have a tensioned structure which means they adopt a solid shape when facing high winds or adverse weather conditions. This means you can leave shade sails up during windy months without having to worry about them blowing away.
Do shade sails protect from rain?
Standard shade sails do not protect from rain, yet they are still able to be left up when it rains without experiencing damage from water pooling on the cover. There are waterproof shade sail options that can protect you from the rain. These designs commonly use PVC fabric and can block out all elements – including rain, sun, and the wind.
