What exactly does a Celebrant do?

Everything! I will take care of the paper work preperation and submission of all the legal documents, including lodgement and certificate application. Write a personalised ceremony, have all PA equipment ready for the day and most importantly have unlimited access to me for any questions or help you may need.

What makes a good Celebrant?

Another great question, as it can come down to a personal opinion. But I think a good Celebrant should be organised, friendly and personable, have a good sense of humour. Be able to read a room and respect the couples wishes and wants. But mostly, that they love what they do, because that shows.

I love being a celebrant. I get to live my passion of meeting new people and connecting to share your unique story -- about how you met and how in love you are, but also all the other fun stuff too. How can we start our marriage with a solid foundation?

That is a great question and one I don't think gets asked enough. You may feel like what would be the point in getting married if you needed counselling? It definitely doesn't mean anything is wrong, but the opposite that you and your partner are open to the dialogue of starting with a solid foundation and looking at the baggage each of you bring to the marriage. A tool worth having!

How do we know you're right for us?

Well, you don't! But, I am a super easy going person and all the reviews I have received from many other couples is that it felt like they had known me forever. I really love getting to know your story and creating a memorable ceremony from that. No two ceremonies I have done are then same.
