The recommended temperature in summer is between 24˚C and 26˚C. Costs can increase by up to 15% for every degree below this. In winter, if using reverse-cycle, your unit should be set between 20˚C and 21˚C.

Contacted Chilltech on Sunday 4th Jan 2026. Everybody still closed for Christmas/New Year hols, but Roz rang me back within minutes, to make arrangements for the replacement of my old motorhome air con unit. By 2:30 the next day, the job was done!!! Also, while Clinton was performing his miracle, Roz ran my wife and I into town, then picked us up when the job was done. Second to none service, a great team, so grateful to them both. We can now continue our journey west to Perth via Broome. Thank you again Clint and Roz, from two very happy travellers from the UK (on a twelve month tourist visa).

Clint helped me out to get my compressor fridge running again when I was in a bind. I was lucky that he could squeeze me in given it was peak season too. If you are planning or needing to get work done, I'd try to book ahead. Like all the good tradies, he's always booked out.

What a fabulous family owned company to do business with . Clint diagnosed the problem with our fridge very easily and was unable to repair the problem and recommended we purchase a new fridge which Clint and Brian fitted for us in no time at all .
