Are podiatry fees at CBR Podiatry covered by Medicare?
Yes, if your GP has issued you with a “Referral Form for Individual Allied Health Services under Medicare for patients with a chronic medical condition and complex care needs”. Please bring this signed referral form made out to CBR Podiatry to your podiatry appointment.
Will the treatment at CBR Podiatry be painful?
Podiatry treatment is rarely painful, however there are some exceptions due to the nature of the foot problem (i.e. ingrown toenail). In this case, a local anaesthetic will be offered, if suitable. Our podiatrists are highly experienced, knowledgeable and always treat patients in ways to minimise any pain.
