About Caneland Medical Centre

Caneland Medical Centre is your local family doctor's practice with the convenience of same day appointments. For medical attention after hours, our Mackay doctors provide out of hours services with other practices. All areas general medical services are provided within our surgery. This includes family medicine, men, women and children's health, health assessments and more. We take a gentle approach to all visits and treatments, helping to ensure your comfort at all times. For your convenience, we offer a repeat prescription service. If you have visited us within the last three months and regularly receive the item for prescription, please advise our front office at least 48 hours in advance. A fee is applicable for this service. To make an appointment with one of our Mackay doctors, contact our friendly front office. We will be able to help you find a time that suits your schedule.

Maddison is the most warm, kind and helpful receptionists. I recently switched to Dr Ram who has been empathic, attentive, patient and helpful with my care. Dr Ram listens to you attentively and it shows with his care. He doesn't make you feel rushed or a bother. I quickly trusted and respected Dr Ram's advice and treatment. It really shows that he cares about his patients.

Dr Ashly is so far best GP I had the previlige to get checked by in mackay. he immediately diagnosed my chronic ear condition ,ever since I am happy with my condition and have no issues.

Receptionist are very rude. No manners to talk to their customers. I wonder if the management send them for some sort of receptionist training especially how to handle phone calls and talk to patients.
