Caloundra Fruit Market

You can smell ho old the fruit sold here without entering the store, it's disgusting. Pickings of the cheapest rubbish available. Sunshine Coast in general has very substandard product with higher prices than even central Sydney fruit shops.

We have lived in Caloundra for nearly 7 years and, for some reason, haven't done a shop for our fruit and vegetables at Caloundra Fruit and Vegetable Markets in Ormuz Avenue. After visiting the other chain stores and picking up rock-hard stone fruit, not to mention tasteless apples, we decided to go to Caloundra Markets in Ormuz Avenue. On entering the very clean shop and smelling all the delicious produce, I bought some cherries, nectarines and apples just to try for a change. We were blown away with the freshness and taste of all the fruit that we bought. I plan on lots of fruit for Christmas and I know now where I will be buying it. I also know where I will be buying fruit and vegetable from now on—Caloundra Fruit and Vegetable Market in Ormuz Avenue, Caloundra. The displays are amazing. I removed a few apples the other day to purchase, and realised I didn't have a basket so I went to get one. On my return the fruit that I had removed from the pyramid display had been returned to their place in the display. Now that is what I call "well organised staff". Now we can eat and enjoy all our fruit and vegetables and know they're fresh and of good quality.
