Cairns Street Chaplains, based in Cairns City, is a not-for-profit organisation that offers essential first aid and compassionate assistance in the Safe Night Precinct on weekend evenings. With trained volunteers stationed at the Shields and Grafton Street corner, as well as patrolling the area, our 'Rest and Recovery' van provides care to individuals vulnerable due to alcohol/drug intoxication or other reasons. We strive to deliver a non-judgmental service, ensuring people's safety and preventing enjoyable nights from taking a turn for the worse. As a part of the First Aid Courses & Supplies and Community Service Clubs categories, our mission is to provide an invaluable support network in the Cairns community.
