How many vents do I need?
Generally, a roof needs one vent every 100 square metres. As well as this, you should allow four eave vents per roof vent to allow sufficient air circulation (air exhausted by the vents will be replaced by fresh air outside).
Do I need eave vents?
Roof vents just by themselves do work But they do work better with eave vents to let cooler air in as the hot air is expelled through the roof vent. This helps keep a constant cycle of fresh air flow threw your roof preventing stale air and mold.
